9 of 44, and 9 of their 23 total losses. The pitching is lacking just a bit. Bass and Bielak are both 2-6, though in fairness to Bielak he's up against the other school's #1 most times. Hearne is a pedestrian 3-2. Your weekend starters being a combined 7-14 is not a good sign.

Has Aoki ever considered recruiting pitching depth?

I would replace Bielak with Solomon, but likely too late...

Recruiting depth to a school where you're still on the hook for 35k a year with a half scholarship is tough
