Sounded like the NIU pitchers couldn't get a grip on the ball as it got colder, and couldn't come close to the plate. A couple WP's and another one the catcher went high for. Now, both teams played in the weather, so credit the Irish.

But, at 7-12 against a putrid schedule, it's hard to feel great about anything these days.

He was texting me at times during the game. First inning took 25 minutes - one hit, four walks, five runners left on base.
