The day before the BCS championship in 2012, I was with classmates at the Clevelander Bar in Miami Beach. Anybody who's been there knows they have a big outdoor beer garden and a DJ. He asked someone in the crowd to come up and sing each of the school's fight songs.

An Alabama guy went up and sang theirs, and then a guy went up to sing ours. The DJ introduces him as a guy "who says he played football for Notre Dame". Most of the ND fans immediately recognized him and shouted "Frank!" even before the DJ said his name. It was pretty cool.
