Either (1) advice on finding (somewhat) reasonably priced tickets to attend at T-Mobile or (2) a recommendation for a typically well run watch party on the Strip?
I'm going to be in Vegas this weekend with a bunch of law school friends for a "reunion" (we're staying at Cosmo). Tickets to the actual fight were a minimum of $850 a couple of months ago when we booked the trip. Standing room only (on the "Party Deck" at T-Mobile) is currently $520 on StubHub. Actual seats start at about $650 apiece in the balcony. Unless they come down to <$300, I don't think many of the guys would do it.
The alternative seems to be one of the myriad organized watch parties at various clubs. Since there are so many, advice on a good one would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any help. Great job on this (and prior) write-ups. I'll definitely place a wager or two to make watching a little more interesting and I'll be taking your info into account.
I'd check Hooters as crazy as that sounds. I heard they show many of the top fights. MGM side bar by check in desk is a great spot to see boxers and such. Enjoy bother.
I am at about the 37 Min Mark
I will be on GGG but it will be a small wager just to make it interesting.
I am going small because I fear what will happen if it goes to the cards.
Like the Mayweather fight, I think people are not accounting enough for the difference in cardio. Alvarez takes rounds off because his stamina isn't great. GGG has the best stamina of any fighter not named Mayweather and the best stamina for any high output fighter. I can't imagine Alvarez will sustain under the pressure he will face. Canelo needs a KO in the first 4 rounds or it will be GGG's fight as the body shots and constant pressure will be too much.
and if you would like to be on the next article let me know. I would love to get your input, your call. My email is linked bud.
If you recall I made a comment about him not looking so hot awhile back. Whatever that was he looks and sounds a lot better now and his performance on-air is back to where it was. My best to him.
