David is the lead singer of the great Laura Nyro song, but this give a flavor of all instruments in the band.

Though a great singer, BS&T was MUCH better with Al Kooper! *

I got into the band when I was in high school, not so much after that. I put in 8-track player in my Cougar, and I had their second album on 8-track.

And When I Die was on their second album as well. I selected this song because my father died on 09/13/1968, and it seemed appropriate. It got me through tough times.

Finally, as I powered down and powered up my computer

Mel co-wrote this Christmas standard with Bob Wells, though nobody sings it better than Nat.

A great day for music...I enjoyed Terry Kath
