Favorite Baseball Team:
I was a good sport fighter at one time. Judo, wrestling, particularly jiu jitsu. I do believe I have an NFL-caliber arm.
Oscar the Grouch meets Wally Sparks, with George Clooney's demeanor.
Favorite Beverage and Consumption Freq:
West Coast IPAs
A lot of old favorites. Smiths, Mott the Hoople, NY Dolls. More than I'd care to admit from the 90s. Doc Watson is another personal favorite, and Irish rebel tunes.
Favorite Quote from an ND Coach:
Just about everything Holtz says ("Let me see what you think of me now that my face is to ya."). And I thought this turnover-related quote from Kelly went under appreciated after the UM game: "My wife even talks to me when I'm plus nine."
What else do you want us all to know:
I can't pinpoint when I became a Notre Dame fan; it was just always there. I think I've always been drawn to the commitment to excellence, which I've tried to live by other than a couple idiotic high school years in which I blew any chance of attending the university. I was born in '83, so my love for ND football has usually been painful. It turns out my great grandfather was also a fanatical Irish fan. Must have skipped a couple generations, right? My father only mentioned ND while making fun of my inevitable grief after each loss. Come to find out he was a big fan who became closeted during the string of down years. In fact, he'd written a poem for the team and sent it to Holtz, and he recently dug up the thank you letter he received in return and intends to give it to me. So there it is, my very loose connection to Holtz.
