Height:  6'1 Weight:  215 lbs. Alumni Status:  Subway
Location:  Memphis, TN Favorite Baseball Team:  St. Louis Cardinals
Natural Enemies:  I realize it's all an act, but I really loathe Mark May.

Athletic Ability: After three knee surgeries I've retired to the golf course. I'm not a bad hack for a guy that only plays 12-15 rounds a year (10-11 hcp). Played basketball, baseball and tennis in high school. A couple of my friends played in the bigs (MLB) and it was fun to follow their progress.

Sartorial Style: Turn around and run from the following people...guys that wear camp shirts (the casual shirts with "lapels" and sissy ass loopholes for the top button hole), guys that wear white suits, guys whose pocket square or suspenders match their tie EXACTLY.

Three things every guy should own....A leather jacket, a pair of cowboy boots and a Tuxedo.

Favorite Beverage and Consumption Freq: I keep Budweiser and one decent microbrew in the fridge.(Abita) Tequila, gin and champagne are guilty pleasures but give me a brutal hangover. I enjoy red wine. Cline Vineyards make a good bottle at a decent price. I hardly ever drink at home unless I'm with someone. If I go out socially it's a waste of time without a drink.

Political Philosophy: Southern Conservative but more liberal since I've become Catholic. Voted for my first Democrat in a major election last November.(Harold Ford, Jr.) Becoming jaded as I grow older toward politicians. When Mary Matalin and James Carville tied the knot, the coziness of the beltway became a little too obvious.

Religious Philosophy: Raised Southern Baptist. Converted to Catholicism after my second divorce. I was lucky enough to meet one of the kindest and coolest priests in the world. My life hasn't been the same since. It's one of the best things that's ever happened to me.

Musical Favorites: My teenage son turns me on to current music and some of it is pretty good.(The Holdsteady, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand) I enjoy a wide array of artists from the dulcet tones of Michael Buble' and Celtic Woman to the straight laced rock and roll of Led Zeppelin and AC/DC. I also enjoy country music. Garth Brooks, George Strait, Chris LeDoux (RIP) and Sara Evans are in regular rotation. Oh, and I also like Elvis.

Favorite Quote from an ND Coach: "Go in...go in!!!"---Urban Meyer after I cozied a seven iron to within two feet when I was paired with him and Dave Borbeley at the old course on campus.

Miscellaneous Data: I was in New York city on 9/11/01. It was my first visit to the Big Apple.
