Height:  5'11 Weight:  200 lbs. Alumni Status:  ND 1991
Location:  Favorite Baseball Team:  White Sox
Natural Enemies:  Combs. Trojans. Fredos.

Athletic Ability: Below average. This is unfortunate, since I always loved playing sports, but could never have any success. Case in point: in 3 years of grade school basketball, I scored zero points, and I was the starting center one of those years. Athletic triumphs: I do have a 405# bench press to my credit, long ago, and I beat Eric(the1) by a stroke in golf last weekend.

Sartorial Style: Rumpled semi-formal. I wear a coat and tie to work and to church, but I make no claims to its stylishness. I have several 9$ Value City sportcoats, since at 9$ nothing is ugly.

Favorite Beverage and Consumption Freq: Beer, all sorts. Favorites are Chimay, Guinness, Harp, Bass, and anything from Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee. Don't miss the Pumpkin Beer, which should be out in a few months.
I like to have one a day. No, I would like to have two or three a day, or even four, but having a wife, child, and job just makes that impossible.

Political Philosophy: Jacobite.

Religious Philosophy: Byzantine (Ruthenian) Catholic. I believe what the Catholic Church teaches to be true, for several reasons: first, the sheer audacity of the claim of the Church to be the True Church. Whichever church really is the TC would have to make this claim, and of all the ones that do, the Catholic is the likeliest. Second, there is really no alternative to the Catholic world-view but despair. Catholics have both a final goal (union with God) and the means to get to this goal (the sacraments); without either, how could one live? Without them, human life is just so much re-arranging of the deck chairs on the Titanic.

Musical Favorites: Clifford Brown, Gustav Holst, Brahms, Rimsy-Korsakov, Wagner, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Anonymous 4, Mahler (sometimes). Among current popular music Dixie Chicks (I'm so ashamed), and also Michelle Branch (I'm even more ashamed--what can I say? I like girl singers).

Favorite Quote from an ND Coach: "Buying a house as a coach at Notre Dame is like doing a crossword puzzle in ink."
