Height:  6'4 Weight:  190 lbs. Alumni Status:  Class of '99, lived in Dillon
Location:  Cary, NC Favorite Baseball Team:  Cubs, because ND looks competently run by comparison
Natural Enemies:  Stoplights. Meatheads who dive at my knees.

Athletic Ability: Above average. Basketball and ultimate frisbee are my chosen athletic endeavors, but I'll play anything that's not golf. It's not that I hate golf; I just lack the time, money, and patience to become passably mediocre at it.

Sartorial Style: Whatever's comfortable and/or makes my wife happy, usually polos or button-downs with jeans, or shorts if it's really hot. I work for a small software company, live in a warm climate, and am happily married, so I neither claim nor desire to be on the cutting edge of fashion. In my defense, I very rarely wear a hat.

Favorite Beverage and Consumption Freq: Dogfish Head 90-Minute IPA. Or anything hoppy, really. Also partial to bourbon and scotch, but I'll happily try just about anything that isn't what one would typically find in a college dorm.

Political Philosophy: Government is the least efficient and most corruptible means of accomplishing anything, so it should be permitted to do as little as possible; and that which government must do should be done at the most local level possible. I'm conservative on most issues, vote Republican mostly by default. View modern politics and most politicians as a hopeless amalgam of corruption, shameless waste, and self-serving rhetoric.

Religious Philosophy: Renewed Catholic. That is, grew up as a lapsed Catholic, rediscovered the Church and got confirmed while at ND, and practicing ever since.

Musical Favorites: 70s-80s "classic" rock, early-90s "alternative," classical music, some jazz, the Notre Dame Victory March.

Favorite Quote from an ND Coach: Paraphrasing from Holtz: "After my first year we went 5-6, and the fans said, 'We brought you here to win.' So the next year we went 8-3, and they said, 'No, no, no, we meant win them all.' We did just that the next year and won the national championship, and they said, 'We meant win them all big.'"

Miscellaneous Data: One of many former ND Band members on this board.
