Height:  6'1 Weight:  198 lbs. Alumni Status:  Class of '97; resided in Fisher, the ROTC building
Location:  Favorite Baseball Team:  BoSox, but only 'cause I'm from that area. Baseball's boring to begin with, and Selig's made it positively loathsome.
Natural Enemies:  Cheap wine, conspiracy theorists, PERL, misbehaving satellites, and college football coaches-turned-ESPN commentators

Athletic Ability: In better-than-average shape, an avid skier, but I suck at b-ball and prefer to watch golf rather than playing it. Far too frustrating for me, although the shameless male chauvanism, drinking, and joking about women is appealing.

Sartorial Style: I went from operating spacecraft in an AF flight suit to operating spacecraft in shorts and a polo shirt. Until recently, it was perfectly acceptable (for guys, at least) to walk around the office topless. At the request of the Mrs., I have relegated all my jeans (which were the staple of my life at ND) to yard work and carwork attire, in favor of a strict arsenal of khakis. Frankly, I'm better for it.

Favorite Beverage and Consumption Freq: Guiness, and any of the good stuff brewed in Colorado. Breckenridge Brewery has a great line, and I've recently started enjoying the wares of a local place, Lefthand Brewery.

Political Philosophy: Decidedly conservative, but not the talk radio slave my spouse is. In fact, I don't even listen the radio much anymore--I've developed a fondness for the books-on-tape from the local library for my morning commute.

Religious Philosophy: Mary-venerating, Pope-obeying, Cathechism-thumping Catholic. There are far too many holes in most Protestant faiths for me to believe them to be valid. No other faith has the continuity, history, apostolic succession, or credibility that the Catholic faith has.

Musical Favorites: Springsteen. Few artists have matched the string of really good albums and incomparable live shows that he has. I don't mind his liberal bent (I tend to separate the man's politics from his music), but I'm disappointed in the knee-jerkiness of his disdain for Bush.

Favorite Quote from an ND Coach: Bob Davie's entire speech following his dismissal.
