She has the best time this year. Hope she wins. Last night by Domerduck

that race was won by a Tulsa guy with not a single big school making it into the top 10. I can't remember that happening before: Tulsa-2 runners, BYU, Butler, Samford, Navy, Iona, NAU, Drake, and CSU. One of the favorites the Kenyan Chalanga from Bama faded to 11th and without their best runner (Cheserek), the top Oregon runner was only 13th. Last year the PAC12, SEC, and ACC each had two runners in the top 10.

It was too bad King Ches of Oregon couldn't defend his titles for the men's 5k/10k and add to his 17 individual national championships. I remember back in the 2015 NCs when both he and Molly Seidel won their respective 10K championships in Eugene. Now both ended up missing out in their last eligible NCAA outdoor track championship with injuries that kept them out. But it looks llke they will have the same representation as they both go professional. The article attached On Molly's announcement also refers to the King Ches signing. Seidel and Cheserek were both Foot Locker National Champions from high school who both followed up with multiple NCAA national championships. Hopefully Anna Rohrer, who also was a double Footlocker HS NC like Cheserek can follow suit starting tonight.
