Mixed bag for BVB fans. by baloo88

On the plus side:
- It's the team's first major trophy in five years.
- The team final won the cup after losing in the final for three straight years.
- Reus won the first major trophy of his career.
- Dembele, 20, and Pulisic, 18, were probably the best players on the field for either team.

The downside:
- Once again, Reus suffered a catastrophic injury, this time to his ACL. Early prognosis suggests he'll be out for six months.

Weigl already suffered a horrible injury two weeks ago that likely will keep him out until September. If Aubameyang ends up leaving this summer, the Dortmund squad will be severely weakened heading into next season, even with the addition of Dahoud. Losing Tuchel as well would be disastrous. As nice as it is to have youngsters like Weigl, Dahoud, Dembele, and Pulisic for the future of the club, it's hard not to think that BVB are in a "one step forward, two steps back" pattern right now.
