I disagree with many/most of the names on zippy's list... by revressbo

and to be honest, feel some of those names he mentions do rightly deserved to be made fun of. In fact, I think if you removed a lot of the clearly wrong names (e.g., Herman, Mullen, Shaw, Leach, etc.), it's a post that's less likely to be made fun of because there are some names on there that that would have a pretty strong chance - though not guaranteed - of matching BK's floor at ND, while having what would seem to be a better chance of reaching ND's pinnacle (national championship) than BK does (Fickell, Campbell, Fisher, Whittingham, Stoops, Riley, Petersen, among others, and you could at least argue the first two would be realistic possibilities to hire).

Regardless, a couple of those Twitter response posts are also pretty amusing:

"The likelihood of ND playing an above average WVU for a natty is near zero."

First, ND beat FOUR AP final top-10 teams that season (including "above average" WVU who finished 11-1 and #5). ND beat 75% of the other top-5 teams that year (obviously can't beat themselves), defeating #2, #4 and #5, and then also #7 USC. Brian Kelly has defeated three in 12 years. Holtz beat four in 1988 alone (and defeated 15 total in 11 seasons).

For having the MLK-Hesburgh picture as his profile picture, he sure could use a bit of a history lesson on ND, it seems.

"There is NO ONE on that list that would do better than Kelly has. NOT one."

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it's at least a decent possibility that the guy who beat Kelly by double digits on the road with recruiting classes that are on average ranked 40 spots lower than ND's could possibly do a better job here than Kelly has.

Sadly, too many in our fanbase agree with those people. Which is why I wouldn't be surprised if we never win a championship again. LSU and Florida fans demand to win the national championship. We demand to win 10 games. We get what we deserve.
