tiring. Maybe you think that I have some kind of agenda, it's hard to know for sure since you only reply with subject line nonsense.

Jvan's first line was "Talk about Freeman as a head coach in waiting is premature" and then proceeded to talk about scheme and potential in-game deficiencies. It got me wondering about Freeman's ability to identify and recruit elite assistant coaches who will be the ones actually making those in-game adjustments when he's head coach. So, I asked the question because I was confident there were others here that would know the answer. Lo and behold, I was right and others responded.

I don't have an agenda. I want Notre Dame to compete at an elite level. And, frankly, having observed how Jack has hired coaches in the other sports, my gut tells me the next guy is either Rees or Freeman if Jack is the one making the decision. If that is in fact the case then I'd like to know if Freeman actually has one of the critical attributes exhibited by other elite coaches of the last 50 or so years.
