• Please do not copy entire articles into your post; rather, provide links to them.. We are now links-only for ALL Internet publications. If only a small portion of the article pertains to your post, Fair Use allows you to copy those one or two paragraphs, provided you cite the author's name and the publication for which he writes. Otherwise, put a link in the HTTP Link box.
• Even if you're copying a reference to an article, provide a link to the page from which the article came. We're trying to cut down on duplicate topics, and the posting process will check the link to your article to see if it's already being discussed on this board. At the very least, you'll save yourself some grief on the boards.
• If your first reaction after reading the article you're going to share is the author is uninformed / stupid / a jerk / all of the above, it's not worth sharing with anyone. Agree 100% -- 12 team playoff can't come soon enough by gregmorrissey

I'm tired of Alabama and Ohio State getting a free pass every year to have a bad game. And, I'm tired of their massaged schedules that are made to sound formidable but are generally mediocre at best.

Put the top 12 in the playoff and let them prove it on the field over 4 or 5 weeks. Or, say fuck it and go all the way back to the 80s/early 90s system where the bowl games were based on conference finish and not 1 vs 2 engineered matchups. But, this pageant show bullshit where Alabama and Ohio State will always get into the last four because they're the hottest chicks in the event is so boring.

** And Notre Dame has no business being in the top 4. But, I think it would be fun as hell to see how they'd do as a #9 or #10 and potentially playing their best football of the year. Certainly more entertaining than another Motor City Bowl vs. LSU on Dec. 27
