Connelly argues that returning RBs don't really help by StetsonDan

I've heard Connelly argue that returning rushing yardage is not a significant indicator of future team success. I think it's a combination of 1) the deceased value that analytics seems to put on running backs, 2) the view that running backs in general are interchangeable to a point, and 3) that running back is often a position where you don't really need to be taught what to do. I don't know if I buy it completely, but it's probably supported by ND's revolving door of leading rushers the last few seasons.
