I would hesitate to believe it will be a higher risk defense by Jvan

They will be aggressive and focus hard on generating turnovers, but won't need to take undue risks to achieve those goals. The talent and depth Freeman has in the front seven plus Hamilton will enable him to attack most offenses on every play without fear of wearing down. I don't see the need to repeatedly expose ourselves to getting gashed for 40-yard plays.

If there is more risk in Freeman's approach, it's in asking the relatively unproven corners to cover guys without help. Obviously, he will have to mix it up against teams like USC. That game may come down to our DL against their OL, which should work out OK for us.
