Brandon was an awesome player and a great guy. by jerseyirish07

He was a junior in Dillon Hall, across the hall from me when I was a freshman. Myself being from northern New Jersey, and Brandon from Sayreville, we struck up a friendship. I remember his Tony Montana impression was spot on (Brandon kind of loved the sound of his own voice).

As the first of my generation on my mon's side to go to college, I got a lot of care packages. Whenever one came in, we'd have Brandon over and he'd help help himself to peanuts and peanut butter (we finished off the cookies ourselves).

As a freshman who'd been watching the Irish since I was a toddler, it was pretty cool that a player of that caliber took the time and interest to hang out with us. I'm grateful to Brandon for welcoming me to Notre Dame.

He's a really good guy, worthy of help. Thanks for sharing this.
