It's amazing how an offer from Ohio State, Alabama, LSU, etc can turn a two star into a three star, a three star into a four star, etc.

In my ridiculous hypothetical score keeping/analysis methodology, I would draw the line at the day the player commits to his final choice of school That way, if a school sees something in a player in a summer camp before his junior year and snags a commitment from the kid, and the kid goes on to set the Texas state single-season passing record, the school gets the credit they deserve for spotting the kid and landing him early, but if some other big school swoops in and steals him away, they don't get as much credit as the original school would have.

Of course, this is all just for fun in retrospective reviews. The real value to football teams is in predicting which kid is a Will Fuller or Luke Keuchly before other schools realize it.
