The Difference: Big Offensive Plays by eddysorin

In 3 games (Clemson/ND, Clemson/OSU, and ND/Alabama), there were 10 touchdowns of 20+ yards or greater scored by Clemson, Alabama, and OSU. Those ten touchdowns averaged 40 yards (39.7).

The bottom line is that in college football today you need to make big plays on offense to compete at an elite level. LSU proved that in 2019.

The 2020 Irish either did not have the personnel to do that, or had that personnel and did not use it effectively.
