I'm having a hard time understanding at this point why by VaDblDmr

students shouldn't be allowed back on campus in a relatively normal setting so long as they provide written waiver of liability. There is little evidence I have seen that young people are at significant risk if they catch this virus; and nobody would be forcing students to return if they and their parents aren't comfortable doing so. (And in that event, does anyone doubt that ND and similar schools would really have trouble filling those slots?)

And I'm not sure why the same shouldn't apply to outdoor sporting events. Some may choose not to go, particularly older people with co-morbidities (which is starting to stare me in the face I might add), but I don't see a significant risk of having students at an outdoor event.

Note well, I'm not commenting on any other endeavor or setting, just colleges and universities.

Finally, I'm open to hearing the other side of the argument. But my bias, if that's the right word, is that if this Fall isn't the right time to reopen higher ed, then what exactly is it that people are waiting for? And when is there a reasonable prospect of whatever that is happening?
