Buy yourself a nice indoor putting mat. by bailey

Find a nice flat spot in your place with plenty of lighting and do three ten minute drills everyday. Put a game on, pour a drink, and hit different distance putts. I have a putting aid called "The Putting Arc" which I highly recommend.

Find a book that relates to your full swing type and read everything you can. Study the short game and theories. I like to read and recommend Dave Pelz' Short Game Bible, The Zen of Putting, Harvey Penick's Little Red Book, Hogan's Five Lessons, and anything by Dave Stockton.

Winter isn't what it used to be where I live. I watch the long term forecast and find days nice enough, and spots dry enough, to pitch and chip around my course. I'll find a rarely used tee box and hit 7 iron at different targets, working on different types of shots.

The bottom line is you have to always sort of be in season. Make yourself keep playing even if it isn't 75 and sunny.

I have young kids who are really into playing so I've had to find a way to get them out in the off season. And I drink vast quantities of dark liquor and dry red wine. So I've that going for me too, which is nice.
