The first domino in baseball’s Biogenesis scandal has fallen.
Major League Baseball announced a 100-game suspension Friday for Cesar Carrillo, a right-handed pitcher on the Detroit Tigers’ Double A roster.
The suspension of Carrillo stemmed from his name surfacing in Biogenesis documents published by the Miami New Times, major-league sources say.
Carrillo, 25, attended the University of Miami, where he was Milwaukee Brewers left fielder Ryan Braun’s road roommate for three years, according to Yahoo! Sports.
