There are a few teams I could see being interested in a pure sniper. He's only signed for one more season at his current rate ($7.5M, I think).
Thing is we'd need a solid second line guy coming back. Don't know if Abdelkader fits the bill there.
As an aside, I remember people justifying their dislike of trading for Nash with "Kreider will pot 20-30 next year, we don't need Nash". That didn't work out too well for them.
