G League Ignite is no more.

This was brought up earlier in the week, but Adam Silver made it official. The Ignite is no more.

I don’t think it changes much as far as the One And Dones are concerned. The same kids will just funnel to OTE or overseas.

The NBA is taking a Long Beach AD style victory lap on this one, but youth basketball in the States is still an ungodly mess that shows no signs of improvement anytime in the near future.

to play ball instead of going to class. Matus Buzelis said "It’s all about development for me."
Turns out it was about making money right out of high school.


The NBA will spin this any way they want.

That’s why they do.

The reality is the players who were going to Ignite are just going to go to Atlanta for OTE or Australia or New Zealand. Nothing is going to change.
