He was projected incredibly high very early on in 8th and into 9th grade due to summer play, like top 20-25 in the 2015 class. And received offers from schools based on how they were projecting out his game as a junior/senior in high school. Sorta unfair to the kid as these expectations get placed on them very early on, too early for my liking. His rankings has slowly dropped. He hasn't grown enough and his jump shot hasn't progressed for how small he is at this stage. He's probably still a top 75-85 type kid but not nearly the top 20 many projected.
Open court play (like the summer) is where he is absolutely best. A maximum open court type style will be important for him to find in a college.
Full disclaimer, I prefer bigger PGs unless they have a dynamite, really consistent jump shot so I'm biased.
