So, I guess Haranagody would qualify. It just seems that we have always gotten more players from eastern states than Illinois, although there are a few exceptions. Falls was actually good, Drago not so much. Collins played at Drago's HS, and I would expect that he will have good success recruiting the schools in the northern suburbs. They are academically demanding and send a good number of students from the general population to NU. Cooley could have been an attractive NU target had Collins been coaching them. I think that being Doug Collins's son has some cachet in Chicago, too.
I am glad that we are recruiting more players of late from Indiana. That's always been tough for us.
