ESPN basically creates the match-ups at the top. Assuming Payne returns to school as expected, MSU will be the class of the Big Ten (top 3-5 overall in nation) and likely face the expected top of the ACC (otherwise not on their schedule). OSU and Michigan are likely second and third in no specific order. ESPN usually creates two marquee games, one Tuesday at 9pm and one Wednesday at 9pm.
I'd be pretty surprised if MSU isn't in the marquee 9pm game. I imagine that will be paired with some sort of Duke/UNC/Syracuse. Being Duke took them out in the Sweet 16, won't be surprised to see that match up again. MSU recruited Parker really hard, he ended up at Duke. (ESPN pulled the Zeller vs UNC this season) Home and away matches up as MSU went to Miami while Duke hosted OSU last year. MSU doesn't play Duke in the Champions Classic next year.
Hope ND doesn't draw Northwestern, that would stink.
