Which, as a Michigan detractor, was nice, because I believe only two schools, Florida and Michigan State, have won multiple titles in both football and basketball. Michigan would have been the third, and that would have sucked. Go Cards.
Without question, Alabama, Michigan, and Pitt are the least reasonable in "claiming" national titles. The problem is that schools like this will "claim" as a title some designation given 50 years later by a person or organization whose opinion did not even matter in their own time. How a team becomes a champ 50 years later is very curious to me.
