Probably better for big men than anyone else. Cooley, Broghammer, and Knight have developed substantially since they arrived on campus. Harangody was a completely different guy by the time he was a junior - lean but stronger than ever.
Among recent guards, Tory Jackson got a lot stronger in his time at Notre Dame without losing any quickness; and Hansbrough's transformation from his first year on the court to his second was remarkable. Connaughton was much stronger this year compared to his first, and I think he played a much more physical game as a result.
It's hard to tell much about Atkins and Grant because they were so slight when they arrived. If ND's rosters are to be believed, Ankins has added 9 pounds (173 to 182) sophomore season to junior season, and Grant added 17 pounds (185 to 202). If that's true, it's all muscle because I didn't see any fat on them. Maybe the thin guys just need time.
