NHL replays are quicker and more consistent than any other league's. A small group of people who do nothing but reviews looking at replays on HD big-screen televisions has to be better than refs looking at a small courtside monitor.
If it works well in the tournament, individual conferences can do it this way during the regular season.
recover the ball that was lost in the dribble. Definitely a foul but not a flagrant. On the other hand, the Kansas player should've been ejected. It was a proper review and proper imposition of a foul, but I thought it should've been more severe.
I do think, though, that when you slow something down it necessarily looks to be more intentional no matter what, and that can definitely be misleading.
