Darius Johnson-Odom. Jae Crowder. Jimmy Butler. All qualifiers out of high school. All blew-up as Jucos. All presumably did just fine in the classroom and graduated from Marquette. All NBA players.
Substandard? No. Rare? Sure. So let's identify and reel in some of those rare Jucos who can contribute on the court and in the classroom. Frankly, if their academics are in order at the time we recruit them out of junior college, why would DQ b/c of their high school transcripts? I would posit: no good reason. Change the policy and except the "rare" guys.
