I happened to see the below post on Volley Talk discussing Irish volleyball recruiting for the 2018 class, and at the end the reference to a "stud" recruit in the 2017 class. It sounds like the recruiting is going well:

Notre Dame adds Sydney Bent on the RS. She is a stud. That is five 2018 commits for Notre Dame, 2-OHs, 1-RS, 1-MB and 1-Setter. If they add a 2018 Libero, they could have a entire starting lineup of 2018 commits.

Is the super stud, Haley Warner, the only RS left from the Select A1 pool from last summer? All of the 2018 Select A1 setters are gone.

Bent, Sydney Listed on: 6/17/2016
RS 6-0 Ransom Everglades Miami, FL Boomers Volleyball Club
Cannon, Abryanna
OH 6-0 Traverse City West Traverse City, MI Michigan Elite Volleyball Academy
Niego, Charley
OH 6-0 Mother McAuley Chicago, IL Michio Chicago Volleyball Academy
Nunez, Zoe
S 5-10 Keith Country Day Rockford, IL Club Fusion
Wenzel, Lauren
MB 6-2 Marian Bloomfields Hill, MI Legacy Volleyball Club

ND has a 2017 stud libero coming in, so I wouldn't expect another big defensive recruit in class of 18.

Researching your top 20 setters it appears that a handful of this extraordinary girls played up an age last club season on top 20 teams. And out of those few, it appears coach McLaughin's 2018 recruit was to most decorated: JVA 16's All-National team, AAU 16 open All-American, Prep VB All-American.
