RVP ends all doubt in the first 2 minutes and volleys one in for fun about 10 minutes later. Congrats United.

Three in 32 minutes.

Every one of them should have been called back for offside.

Given Suarez's imminent suspension, that probably locks up the Golden Boot for RVP as well.

Small consolation after getting jobbed in the CL

And this is much ado about nothing as the EPL has been academic for a month.

First goal looks fine to me. Which pass looks offsides?

Sure seems offsides on goals 2 and 3 though.

The long pass to Valencia in the buildup. *

Interesting that BBC makes no comment, but EPLTalk...

Despite the three goals, two of them were questionable based on whether the referee should have blown his whistle for offside. The third goal, especially, looked like it was marginally offside.

The whistle should have blown on goals one and three.

I can give the linesman a pass on missing the offside call on the second goal (the volley). It was very tight. Van Persie was on the run and just about half of his foot was in an offside position. It wasn't even obvious on first glance when they froze the frame on the replay.
