PSG goes up in 50th minute... pretty brutally missed offsides on the goal.

Pedro equalizes. Barca ahead on away goals now.

I kept wanting to watch the replay of the Messi pass

because the timing seemed different, in a good way. He punched it through.

Barca without Messi

looked VERY pedestrian.

My big takeaway from the game is that Barca can't do the "Barca thing" half as well when that one guy isn't on the field. After he came on, they went back to their normal possession between midfield and the other team's box. I really like Xavi and Iniesta, but they couldn't do it on their own.

Before Messi came on, PSG was killing them on counters. The back line was still high, but they couldn't possess effectively. Really, FCB was lucky to keep it to 1-0 up to that point.

It's one more example of just how fucking good Messi is - even with a bum hammy.

Barca needs a red alternate jersey.

For some reason Barca without Messi is invinsible when they are wearing the roja.
