Solid win, great job of stretching Guatemala's defense. Dempsey's two goals were beauties. EJ switching from left to right was a great move.

Although the second half was solid defensively (due to doing a good job maintaining possession), Jurgen had better fix the problems at the back before the Hex starts.

Stupid yellow by Deuce with the dive near the end. He'll have to be careful next match.

Without Dempsey, I don't think Bradley's shot

Does he have an American cousin who can call college football games?!?!?

He's not terrible.

If you listen to him long, enough, he'll repeat some of his trademarks, some of which I find a bit irritating. I've probably heard him say his "19th nervous breakdown" line about five times. But I'd take him over 90% of the guys out there.

Ian and Macca calling ND games would be fun to listen to *

Ian Darke, ESPN hired him for the 2010 World Cup. *

What's her relationship with the University these days?

She sued the school her senior year, if I recall correctly. She won, but I'd imagine that the relationship might remain frosty. Any idea?

What was the suit about? *

If I recall correctly

She was accused of smoking non-cigarettes on a Summer Soccer trip/tournament to Mexico. ND suspended her, she sued and won in court, and was allowed to play soccer her Senior season at ND.

Thanks. *

I deleted a post about his inclusion in this squad. It wasn't complimentary. I was very wrong. Splendid two match run he's on.

Mine as well. *

Exciting match.

I have to admit it's getting better. It's getting better all the time. 3-1, now, U.S.A.

At least we weren't getting thrashed 8-1 by Honduras, like
