Really, Rodgers is a poor man's version of Klopp.

Rodgers like to play an open-style, pressing kind of game similar to Klopp. They both have similar weaknesses with defending and set pieces. But Klopp communicates much more effectively with his players and engages with the fans and media better.

Ultimately Klopp didn't what Rodgers couldn't do. Albeit at the 11th hour. He came up with a system that countered teams that were willing to park the bus. Rodgers never had a plan B. Ironically, Klopp went to the 4-4-2 Diamond that Rodgers never seemed willing to do, despite Balotelli needing a striking partner. Of course Klopp didn't do that for him either.
