while we're up 1-0 last year, 2008/09 charge in the 2nd half of the season that wasn't enough to overtake United, every fucking thing about the Roy Hodgson era, 2012 FA Cup Final, 2016 League Cup Final.

On the other hand, my interest in the team started while I was bartending after college in 2005 when 5 drunk Englishmen walked in to my afternoon shift to watch the CL Final some random afternoon. So it hasn't all been bad beats and tough losses.
