You could have been talking about Liverpool. *

Playing 2 midfielders in the back 4, along with Lovren

and Karius is a recipe for disaster. They really missed Matip, whose presence seems to steady Lovren, back there. I don't know if Klavan is injured or just not very good, but it is time for Klopp to get another center back (which is a tough market) and a world class goalie. Perhaps Karius, who was highly rated in Germany, can become that, but I just don't see it at this point.

Cesc's pass to set up the second goal was beautiful. *

The counter attacking was a thing of beauty. Carved them up.

Gotta appreciate what Conte is doing.

Really has them set up well after a rocky start, especially the little brat Hazard. Tactical and man management at its finest.

Take note, Jose.

Not quite sure what Fernandinho or Aguero were thinking

on Aguero's challenge you can almost argue he was a little unlucky to catch Luiz the way he did, but Fernandinho just lost his mind.

Aguerro knew what he was doing

You don't go boot up like that into a leg without intent. He'll get some extra time off from the FA for that. Incredibly dangerous, that's a leg breaker. I am no fan of Luiz, either.

And yes, Fernandinho was a complete clown out there.

It appears

That many are justifying Fernandinho's actions because Fabregas slapped him.

Those people should also note that Cesc did so while Fernandinho had his hand around his throat.

No sane or rationale person thinks Fabregas was the instigator. That said, the FA appears to be heading towards leveling charges at Fabregas.

Same as it ever was.
