unseeded Va Tech. Two ACC losses came when ACC teams played another ACC team (ND to Louisville, Syracuse to North Carolina). VIrginia lost in double OT tat 5th seeded Stanford, the only other Power conference to send a team to the final 8. They take on Louisville next. The other 2 schools not from the Power 5 are Providence from the Big East who plays NC next and Denver from Summit league who has Clemson in the quarters. The Big Ten was shut out despite having the #1 seed Maryland who Providence beat and #7 seed Indiana who Va Tech beat.

As for ND the season went downhill when we were #1 and lost at Louisville earlier in the year. That was their only regular season loss to the 5 teams they played of the final 8 as they beat 2 of them and tied 2 of them. Now the season ends at the same place it turned for us. from During the In the ACC tourney both teams lost to ACC tournament champ Wake Forest who is the highest seed remaining at #2. Va Tech gets them in the quarters.
