From the article:

Ranked as the 4th best player in the country by ProspectsNation.com, Peoples got a chance to play with her future teammates while on a visit to South Bend last week. Later that day, the Schlarman guard sat in Irish head coach Muffet McGraw's office and got an offer.

"I said, 'Wow' and then 'This is where I want to be,'" Peoples said. "Then after that everybody just stood up and hugged and lots of smiles and a few tears shed. It was a feeling that I can't explain."

Wouldn't it be sweet if all our offers had that kind of result and turnaround?

offer until she visited. ND is conservative in its offers, even for consensus top ten recruits, similar to Auriemma's approach. Her enthusiasm is impressive and her long-standing admiration for Skylar is similar to Skylar's admiration for Niele Ivey.

I agree with you. Muffet and Geno both are very deliberate

in extending offers. Many other universities are decidedly less stingy. Of course ND and UConn can be very selective because they are excellent destinations for women's hoops.

I am proud she picked us. What a fine young lady! *
