degree. She redshirted and is forgoing her last year of eligibility. Seems like a normal move.

Why leave now? Why not declare before the WNBA draft and avoid leaving your college team high and dry? Yes, players forego their last year of eligibility, but typically to go pro in the WNBA. This seems like a very strange move to me and there may be more to the story.

Tea Cooper is DD best-friend. Cooper was recently disciplined by school admin. Cooper transferred to South Carolina. Most internet chatter states this as the reason.

a Euro team for the '17-'18 season. The pay is better than in the WNBA and she'll be eligible for the 2018 WNBA draft with a season of pro experience behind her. Some UT fans consider this addition by subtraction...

Despite proclaiming herself the best player in the nation and an all american she's achieved neither at UT. I think her draft stock is likely to rise after a season overseas.
