at their place. This is OSU's 5th loss and they have them ranked 11th, yet no other ranked team has more losses. They are clearly overrated. AP voters who have no vested interest (like the coaches do to push their conference) don't even give any votes to any other Big 10 teams. The coaches have Michigan and MSU getting single digit votes in "others receiving votes".
ACC (7 teams) & PAC12 (6 teams) are dominating the rankings with over half of the teams ranked top 26 coming from those 2 conferences ('Cuse is 26 in AP, 24 in Coaches). They are consistent in both polls. The 11 other teams ranked in the top 25 in both polls are: Big 12-4, Big 10-2, SEC-2, AAC-2, Big East-1 (Depaul).
Both conferences coudl get 9 teams in as AP voters have 3 other PAC12 schools getting votes so its possible 75% of that conference can make the NCAA's. ACC could also get up to 9 teams as of the 8 other non-ranked ACC teams, all are currently .500 or better. 5 of those teams have only 4 or 5 losses so far.
