I did throw out the "What If" scenario a week ago. She adds much needed experience and depth. Now need another forward. Would love King.
mean they are always going to xfr. Nice to see KK has changed her mind as she looked at her options.
Kk was fighting some type of injury all season and gutted it out. We needed her and she played hurt, but it affected her game. Come back healthy next year and she will be a big part of a great season.
while probably nursing some sort of injury. If uninjured, she will play an important role in next season's success.
Over 2 full seasons, why leave now
She will be hard to stop once her 3 ball starts landing
And that one is due to Covid. And who knows maybe Nat changes her mind too
4 year commitment and degree; that's all we can ask...although we will take more (thanks Maddy!)
I wonder if Citron is leaning on Nat....
will be next season but makes me wonder if she did not get any assurance of being a starter from the schools she talked with.
Teams need good reserves to cover instances of
sickness or short-term injuries
foul problems
off days in a game
countering match-up issues
and reducing playing time & fatigue issues at the end of a game
Plus gives the opportunity for playing at a fast pace on offense and defense
... who also seems to be an outstanding young woman.
from giving the lead guards a break bringing the ball up to rebounding, playing tough defense and taking it to the hole.
Think KK staying takes away any need to look for a guard in the portal,
so will be interested in potential front line (including wing/small forward) possibilities.
This news makes the timing of King's visit very odd. I would have said that King would be a great replacement for KK's role, but now I'm not as sure how King would fit in (but I'd still love to have her for added depth).
