The Irony naming a Women's Coaching Award after Geno, Muffet must be pulling her Irish hair out. 🤣

Kind of fitting the way it shaped out since the coaches know what’s up and the press loves Geno

Yep - Neither Geno nor Tara would be #1 in wins were it

not for her early onset Alzheimer's. This award should be named after her. She was both an all-time great and a pioneer. She was there washing uniforms and driving vans. NFW anyone else deserves the award's title.

Agree. Pat Summitt was a seminal figure in women’s college

basketball. She literally started the Lady Vols from scratch when she was a grad student at UT.

Just Think, Tara Just Retired as #1 Coach in Wins

was an award from sports media which resets my expectation of stupidity. I won't go beyond the ESPN is in love with Uconn/Geno. There are many other reasons but I won't start the controversy.

Great point. Tone deaf for 2024. *

Well, it's not a "WOMENS" trophy. It's a coaching trophy...

I'm no more a fan of Geno than most here, but he certainly has the resume of the greatest womens' BBall coach of all time, kinda similar to Wooden, in more ways than one. And his success did help elevate the game.

Have you followed Women Sports the last few years?🤷‍♀️🤦‍♂ *
