Because it looks badass (minus the lame logo)

Unfortunately, I think it's just Rust, Cole, & Hinostroza

Johns, Palmieri, Lee, & Sheahan's teams didn't make playoffs.
I think DiPauli still on the Penguins but injured reserve

EDIT: Correct on the 3; there are 10 alums in the NHL.

Also:

In addition to Cole, Rust and Hinostroza, the list of 10 includes: Eric Condra (Tampa Bay), Stephen Johns (Dallas), Anders Lee (New York Islanders), Kyle Palmieri (New Jersey), Riley Sheahan (Detroit), Robbie Russo (Detroit) and T.J. Tynan (Columbus).

The 10 alums in the NHL ranks eighth among all colleges this season.

Former Notre Dame Players to Lift the Stanley Cup

Bill Nyrop - Montreal (1976, 1977 and 1978)

In addition, as the Senior Vice President/General Manager of the Chicago Blackhawks, Notre Dame alum Stan Bowman was part of Stanley Cup Championships in 2011, 2013 and 2015.

at the end of the year. DD's post was about player's in the Stanley Cup this year. While Columbus made the playoffs, Tynan is not listed on the roster. Tampa Bay (Condra) and Detroit (Russo) didn't make the playoffs.

Technically, Tynan, Condra, and Russo played on NHL teams this year but Tynan played in only 3 games, Condra in 13, and Russo 19. The other 7 mentioned played most of the year in the NHL.

Thanks for pointing that out. I wouldn't have known. *
