UML tends to neutralize what we do well

BU has far more individual talent. We played one of our best games of the year at home against UML in the 4-1 win. But we went on the road to BU and when we absolutely needed at least a win were able to get it.

UML gets after you early and then puck possesses you to death. At their best they look a LOT like a Notre Dame team circa 2007-2009. BU, much like Notre Dame, relies on their skill and talent to shine in the third period and wins games late. They trailed both games this weekend 2-0 and came out on top both nights.

UML has had our number so they may have a psychological edge, but in the end, this is more about what Notre Dame can do and how we respond to whatever happens early in the game. We can win two games in Boston no matter who we play Friday or -- hopefully -- Saturday.
