Golson (529 combined passes and rushes) shouldered a much bigger load than Sims (392 combined passes and rushes) even though, even w/ last night's struggles, Sims has been much less TO-prone (14 picks v. 7, and, I suspect, a similarly wide fumble margin). Yeldon and Henry (309 combined carries) are no better than Folston and Bryant (206 combined carries), yet we know which pair got 50% more carries.

AL's opponents averaged 312 ypg, ND's averaged 401 ypg. Let's not consider going there. For marital reasons, AL is the team I see the second-most of in a typical season. I was there when they were light years better than ND 2 years ago. The gap is wider now. It will likely never narrow much as long as each program has its current HC.
