I live in Michigan. Let them go. Other than OSU, the Big Ten is no longer part ot the NFL developmental league. Sign a deal with the huge corps to "endorse" (sic) our student athletes (sic) and schedule the national powers down South. College football is now a regional sport located from Columbus, Ohio south.

I wholeheartedly disagree. We should never play Michigan again in football. Just read Murray Sperber's Shake Down the Thunder and learn about the decades and decades of anti-Catholic bigotry and disgusting condescension from Ann Arbor. Never again should we play those jerks.

1989 - Michigan
1990 - Michigan and Michigan St. (part of four-way tie for Big Ten title, but Iowa went to the Rose Bowl)

They each have to have 7 home games because reasons, and because the B1G has 9 conference games (assuring 5 league road games every other year), that means they can only play 1 road game every two seasons out of conference — ergo, they can only play 1 real opponent every two seasons out of conference. Neither of them wants that spot to always be filled by ND.
