Anger should be directed above Kelly
by Hanratty5ND (2019-10-26 23:25:58)

This is on John Jenkins and Jack Swarbrick. Period.

Kelly is just an incompetent scam artist who has been enabled by his superiors. I can't blame him for conning those two fools.

ND needs to clean house at the top if they ever want to get serious about their once great football program.

Last years regular season was a mirage.

To whom do I direct my (relative) apathy? *

Last year was a mirage because Kelly didn’t have to play...

.... a good, ranked, traditional power in a hostile environment. If he did, he would have lost and ND wouldn’t have gone to the playoffs.

He loses that game every time, every year.

He got lucky in 2018 that USC and Virginia Tech sucked.

He’s had two on the schedule in 2019 and surprise, surprise, he’s 0-2.

Stanford has Costello back at QB now. Kelly will probably lose that game too.

First guy to go needs to be Fr. Jenkins. He’s allowed the Catholic character of Notre Dame to deteriorate and his leadership skills are atrocious.

With respect to athletics, Swarbrick needs to go. He’s a terrible decision maker and keeper of our brand. He’s way more culpable than anyone else for our mediocrity.

Well he's not going anywhere. He recently got 5 more years.

Get used to it.

(Oh, and of course, Kelly sucks)

It's a hallmark of the modern Notre Dame.

The brighter the lights the more we shrink.

The coach is a small thinker who graduated from a small college who coached at small programs.

He was hired by a lawyer who never hired a coach.

The president hired an AD who was a lawyer.

The president was never a leader of any major organization.

The only people held to a standard of excellence at this school are students.

31 (or 26) years without a title is much bigger than Brian

Amen

There hasn't been accountability on any level at ND

for over two decades. Tonight is not going to change that. Frankly, at this point, nothing short of an act of God is going to change that.

There is accountability. The standard is what Kelly produces

10-3 is good enough.

Didn’t Jenkins just get another five year term? *

He and Kelly are good employees in the mind of Jenkins and Board.
